Moore Psychiatry works with Alma for billing, covering most Aetna, Cigna and United/Optum insurance plans.
Please click HERE to check your coverage with Aetna, Cigna or United/Optum and note this is an estimate. Once you are booked, you will receive an email from Alma to confirm details and create your profile, the process can take 1-3 business days.
If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we can provide a superbill upon request to assist you for reimbursement by your insurance provider if you have out-of-network benefits.

Yes, we offer out-of-network options which is considered private pay, self pay or cash pay. For patients who are out-of-network, we can provide a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. It is important you check with your insurance to confirm your benefits.

We accept payments through credit card via our secure payment portal (we accept HSA/FSA as well). You are required to have a credit card on file regardless of the method of payment. Payment is due by the time of service.

We highly recommend that your initial intake session be conducted in person, as it allows for a more thorough and personalized evaluation. During this session, we’ll review your health history, discuss any previous treatments, and begin crafting a treatment plan tailored to your goals. If you received psychiatric treatment elsewhere please have your records sent to Moore Psychiatry prior to your first visit with us.
Let us know your insurance type or if you’re self-pay (Integrative appointments are self-pay).
In-network patients will get an email from Alma (our billing company), please follow their steps.
Self-pay patients receive a Good Faith Estimate.
Once your payment method is set, your appointment will be confirmed.
Complete paperwork and set up your patient portal at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Our approach to controlled substances is conservative. While they may be prescribed, our decisions are always guided by what is best for the patient and in compliance with Arizona regulations.

You can expect comprehensive, individualized care from Dr. Moore, however it is often recommended to establish with an individualized therapist to provide additional support for the most positive outcomes.

We are unable to provide letters in support of surgery, child support/child custody/parental rights, disability determinations, or forensic determinations (competency evaluations). We do not offer MAT treatment, addiction treatment such as Suboxone or Methadone services. Moore Psychiatry does not provide crisis or emergency services.

Please contact us as soon as possible to update us. If you are more than 10 minutes late you may be asked to reschedule and be charged a no show fee.
